The Flower Princess
Book Design
Assignment: Create a cover, layout the text, and create illustrations for a story. I chose The Flower Princess by Abbie Farwell Brown. Except for the actual text, this book was created without the use of a computer. I created the illustrations from cut up scrapbooking paper, assembled the pages through the use of accordian binding, attached a repurposed book cover for the front and back, and tied it together with a piece of ribbon.
